Sherry was 11 years old when she was at Willard Bay with her family for a fun outing. She was swimming when her Dad saw her struggling and came out to save her. They both drowned that day. She had just graduated from primary on the day of her passing. Suzette remembers that they had just talked about how Sherry was coming up into 7th grade, and Suzette was going to show her around the school and help her find her locker. Sherry loved life and lived it to the fullest in her short almost-12 years.
