Bryon Richardson

Bryon was only 14 months old when his dad and sister passed away. He had five older siblings who loved him and took him under their wings. He lived in Idaho for many years but also returned to Brigham City in his teens and graduated from Box Elder High School in 1990. He was a wrestler on Box Elder’s team and wrestled in the Richardson Memorial tournament his junior and senior years, finishing 6th and 5th respectively. Bryon took 4th in the state wrestling tournament as a junior and 3rd his senior year. Bryon was the Richardson Memorial tournament dedicatee in 1991 (see article below for more details). Bryon served a mission in Hamburg, Germany. He attended Ricks College and the University of Utah and earned his Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Northern Colorado. He married Amy Whittaker in the Salt Lake Temple. They have four children: Elisabeth Child (Matt), Talmage (Chrissy), Rockwell LaVon(Megan), and Jed. They have six grandchildren. Bryon has worked as a school principal at Uintah River Charter High School and is currently the Executive Director at Leadership Academy of Nevada.
